This exhibition questions notions of work, pleasure and leisure. But it also questions politics of representation and
creation. It’s not about having answers, but question yourself; there is so much energy in the
question.
I found these kick boards on various beaches in Setubal. I used them as a canvas for cyanotypes. The images all reference labor
overview of the show, on the foreground the flag and the kickboards
The kickboards with cyanotype prints depict a coffee cup, a tie, office supplies, machine parts, and an archival photo of the factory
The various production schedules printed on the fabrics come from CUF’s archive
